Learn more hereAt 3 years old and 64 pounds of pure love, Chica is a gentle German Shepherd mix who's ready for a loving family. Found as a stray, Chica arrived at the shelter with a tough case of dermatitis, but thanks to great care (and her own resilient spirit!), she’s made huge improvements. She’ll need continued care to look her best, but she’s worth every bit of it. In her foster home, Chica is a total sweetheart. She's calm, loving, and enjoys lounging on her bed or playing with her toys. She’s great hanging out with both people and dogs, although she really loves her food so she prefers not to share snacks with other dogs. Chica already knows sit, stay, down, and shake, and she's eager to learn more (especially if treats are involved). She walks well on a leash but can get a little overexcited when she sees other pups.
