I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog G:3At 8 years old and 60 pounds, Cappy is a handsome senior with quiet confidence and charm. He was found tied up outside the shelter with many wounds. All healed now, he's waiting for his forever family. This sweet boy is house-trained and catches on to routines quickly. He’ll even let you know when it’s time to go out. His favorite place? Curled up next to his humans on a comfy couch. He sleeps soundly through the night and loves a little sunbathing during the day. Cappy has arthritis, likely from an old injury, so he keeps things low-key. Gentle strolls, soft beds, and lots of love are all he needs. He’s great on leash and enjoys short “sniffaris” around the block. When it comes to other dogs, Cappy prefers to be your one-and-only.
