I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:13Applebees – Sweet, Social Pittie with a Playful Spark of Enthusiasm Applebees is a 6-year-old, 60-pound Pit Bull Terrier. Friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented, he clearly enjoys spending time with humans and soaking up attention. Leash manners: Moderate puller on leash, especially when curious or excited, but manageable with some guidance and routine practice. People-focused: Actively seeks attention and interaction, showing the sweet and social personality that makes him easy to connect with. ​Smart & treat-motivated: Happily sits for treats, responding well to cues and working on taking treats gently. Easygoing curiosity: Shows interest in nearby dogs with attentive watching, but no reactivity; easily redirected with a squeaky toy or handler’s cue. Low toy interest: Not particularly interested in balls, preferring human interaction and treats over toy play. Applebees would do well with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog who enjoys social dog friends.
