Please contact Isabell ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Sansa was a stray on the streets of Lancaster and brought to the Lancaster shelter with a terribly matted coat. Poor guy must have been in so much discomfort. The shelter staff bathed and groomed him, but nobody wanted to adopt him so Paw Parent welcomed him. He is very happy here and gets along great with all the dogs. He is afraid when we try to put a leash on him, he must have had bad experiences from living on the streets. He also hates being groomed, his matted coat when he was found probably caused him so much pain and he might have been also terribly abused by people that he will show you his teeth when you approach with scissors. We give him Benadryl before taking him to the groomer to calm him down a bit. He also needs to be taught not to pee in the house. Otherwise is very quiet and mellow and does not cause any trouble. He is around 9 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and ready for his new forever home.
