Hi, I'm Cheese. I am a gentle, sweet dog with a playful spirit, though I can be a bit shy at first. I am very friendly and enjoy connecting with people once I feel comfortable. I do not seem to hear very well, so I do not respond to auditory cues the way most dogs do. I may need a little extra patience and individualized training, and I will thrive in a loving home where I can receive calm, compassionate care and continued guidance. I can get a bit overstimulated by children and show my best manners when I'm not around them. My friends at IACC think I would do best in a home with adults that can help me figure out how to appreciate kids and their quirks.
