Meet Ricky/Squid! This sweet boy is a 1 year old Aussie/Catahoula mix and man does he show it! If you’re looking for a friend to go on runs and play fetch, this is your guy. He ways great on a leash and is very polite! Ricky/Squid still has a whole lot of puppy energy and is essentially a human toddler in canine form. He loves to help with day-to-day tasks such as cooking and doing dishes, though his idea of helping us stealing dishes from the dishwasher and food from the freezer ?. He LOVES toys— playing fetch, squeaking on stuffies, chewing on bones. Loves ‘em! That being said, he is still not too sure what is and isn’t a toy. Shoes and tables beware!! Ricky/Squid has the silliest zoomies ever: somersaults, high-speed running, excited woofing. It’s quite the spectacle! When all his energy has subsided, he is very gentle and loves hugs and kisses. He is quite the cuddle bug!! This guy would be great for an active, experienced family. Ricky/Squid LOVES dogs and is quite submissive. No reactivity to speak of! Due to his breed he likes to herd and nip like most cattle type dogs. He may do better in a home without small children or cats. We think Ricky would make a great fun companion for someone.
