Male Dog, Chocolate Labrador Retriever

Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Chihuahua / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Please contact Allyson for more information about this pet. Courtesy post for another rescuer. Please be sure to contact [email protected] or 626-798-3077 for more information on Perrier. Perrier is a sweet 1-year-old chocolate brown Lab/Chihuahua mix with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. He was one of five puppies from Tijuana whose world was turned upside down when their owner sadly passed away. Despite that early loss, Perrier has grown into a loving, hopeful little guy who is ready for a fresh start with a family of his own. Weighing 22 pounds now and expected to fill out to around 30 pounds, Perrier will be the perfect sized companion—big enough for adventures, small enough to snuggle close. He is house trained and crate trained, and he’s currently working hard on his leash skills and basic obedience. He truly wants to please and blossoms with kind guidance and encouragement. Perrier has a medium energy level, making him a wonderful balance of playful and relaxed. He doesn’t bark much and enjoys a peaceful environment. He can be a bit timid when meeting new people, but give him a little patience and a gentle voice, and you’ll see his warm, affectionate personality shine through. Once he trusts you, he loves deeply. He adores children and lives comfortably with lots of other small dogs. While we’re not sure how he feels about cats yet, he has shown himself to be a kind and adaptable pup. Perrier is still unaltered, and he is ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. Perrier is currently being fostered in Tijuana, Mexico, but transportation can be arranged in Southern California as far north as Los Angeles County.
