Description:

Please contact Bettye ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Courtesy post for Rescue and Rehome. Please be sure to contact [email protected] for more information and an application. Please do not contact Dogz In Need as we have limited information on this sweet dog. Monroe lived the first 7 years of her life in a small outdoor kennel in the dirt and since then has lived at our rescue. She has been waiting here at the rescue for over 3 years for a home of her own! She is the most difficult dog to photograph and seems to view the camera and photo taking as a punishment, making her look so sad in photos, but she's actually a happy, friendly, loving girl who just wants love! Monroe loves to be with her family, be petted and go for walks!!! She has a lot of love to give and would love hanging out with her new family. She will love and lick you to death! She is well behaved in the house and is an indoor dog. Monroe is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. She is good with kids, although might be too enthusiastic with small toddlers. Monroe is good on walks, although pulls as first from excitement. She is eager to please and sits for food and treats. She is house trained and crate trained. Monroe has learned to do well with other household dogs and cats, but might chase an outdoor cat or other prey. If left alone outside, she might climb/jump out of the yard and needs a home with a secure high escapeproof fence or fence. As with all dogs, we recommend proper introductions when Monroe is meeting new dogs. She is looking for a home with experienced dog parents who have time to walk and spend time with her and give her the love and attention she deserves. If Monroe is home alone during the day, another dog her size or larger to keep her company would be great! $100 adoption fee, cash only, which is to help reimburse for a portion of expenses of dog rescue and rehabilitation. Location: Quail Valley/Menifee, Southwest Riverside County. . Please contact Bettye at [email protected] for an adoption application.
