I found this sweet puppy wandering on a busy street, narrowly avoiding becoming a victim of traffic. After rescuing her, I managed to locate her owner, who had adopted her from the San Diego Humane Society as an 8-week-old puppy. Sadly, the owner, a senior citizen residing in a care facility, admitted she was unable to handle Sierra's boundless energy and felt misled about her breed. When she reached out for help, I couldn't refuse. Now named Sierra, this 5-month-old pup is a whirlwind of happiness and enthusiasm. She adores people and dogs of all sizes and coexists peacefully with our foster cats. Sierra would blossom as a family dog, particularly with older, considerate children. She enjoys walks and car rides and would thrive with consistent puppy training.
