Hello... my name is Percy! I’m an approximately one-year-old Terrier mix. I was rescued from the shelter and I’m learning what it's like to be a playful and wonderful fur baby, but I don’t currently have all the foundational dog skills (confidence, socialization, and impulse control) down due to my unknown past. Thus, children are too much for me, as I don’t enjoy forced situations and get overly nervous and stimulated when that happens. Grooming can be a bit stressful for me but I am a work in progress and learning that this is just part of what is needed for me to look my best. But with patience, I am learning every day how to trust. I need my adopter to be patient with me and provide me the structure and the routine I need to be my very best.
