Jersey Girl - Chocolate Female X, 1 yr old, 61 pounds Personality and Temperament Jersey Girl is searching for her forever family. She is a mellow and easygoing companion who would be the perfect addition to a loving home. Jersey has already lived with two Lab Rescue Foster Families and has adjusted well to both, demonstrating her adaptable and friendly nature. Her beautiful, lush coat, bushy tail, and striking blue eye hint at a mixed heritage, but her personality is distinctly Labrador. She enjoys the company of people, loves water and birds, and delights in playing with toys and is food motivated. Most of all, Jersey cherishes being with her people. While she has not lived with cats, she is known to be playful with other dogs. Training and Readiness for Adoption Though Jersey arrived with some basic skills, living indoors was a new experience for her. She has quickly learned good leash manners, sleeps comfortably in a crate or in the bedroom with her person, and is fully potty trained. Jersey is ready for adoption—she is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and prepared to become a cherished member of her new family.
