Description:
Lyla, a stray found injured on HWY 99 in Bakersfield, is searching for her forever family. We rescued her with a severe paw laceration and provided immediate care. While awaiting adoption, we discovered Lyla is diabetic. Living on the streets with this condition would have been incredibly difficult, if not impossible. Diabetes significantly impacts her adoption chances, so we are hoping to raise enough funds to cover her insulin for a few months. Lyla is a playful and affectionate dog who will bring joy to your life. She loves to go out for walks but will also gladly cuddle on the couch. If you're up to the challenge and can offer Lyla a loving forever home, please leave a comment or send us a direct message. Excited to find your new family member at Wags and Whiskers? Our pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Many come from unknown backgrounds, so please consider the 10+ year commitment. Schedule an appointment today! Call 530-895-8888.
