My name is Georgia! I'm a 1-year-old, spayed, Hound mix that weighs about 37 pounds. I'm a gorgeous, energetic, silly, wiggly and affectionate young dog, but I have a cautious nature. Because of this, I need a family that is not only active, but also prepared to help me work on my social skills and overall manners. I'm happiest when I'm outside, either running full speed in the play yard or following my nose while we're on a walk. I am not sure how I feel about little kids or other dogs, so for now, I would prefer to go home to an adult only household with no other pets. I can't wait to find my very own home! You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! To check on an animal's adoption status, please call 650-340-7022 during normal business hours to speak with an adoption counselor. Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
