Hello, my name is Elle and I'm a spayed, 7-year-old, Chihuahua mix that weighs about 14lbs. I'm a sweet but timid senior lady that's looking for a home where I can be showered with love, attention, and treats. I start off on the timid side, so I'm hoping for a patient and loving family that has experience with teaching under-socialized pups how to trust and love again. I promise I'm worth the wait! I don't mind the company of mellow dogs that are my size, but I prefer to enjoy that atmosphere over playing. If you're looking to add a sweet, golden girl to your family, look no further! Once she trusts you, you’re her best friend. She wanted to sleep in my lap while I worked and whined super softly when I had to put her on the ground. She gave me little face licks and cuddles. She definitely prefers hanging on the sidelines during any commotion. Super quiet and calm pocket pup.Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around! Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
