Pit Bull Terrier / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Hi there! My name is Canelo and I'm a neutered, 1 year old, Pitbull/German Shepherd mix that currently weighs about 70lbs but I might get up to 80 pounds. I'm a very sweet boy who LOVES being with people! I'm still learning a lot, like when not to jump and how to keep these big limbs in check. I'm hoping for a family that's prepared to continue my training and take me on adventures! I have a lot of puppy energy and I'm excited to learn new things! In fact, I have been told that I am a pro at "touch" and "down," and I'm doing well with "spin," "leave it," and "place." My friends here at PHS say I'm the perfect balance between being an energetic, playful pup and a very dainty boy. I prefer households with dog savvy children that are 10 years or older since I'm still learning self-awareness. My new family should also be experienced with large breed dogs since I will be a big boy when I grow up. Please bring the entire household, including any resident dogs, so we can get acquainted before I join the family!
