Rain is such a beautiful Hound/Lab Mix! Her black fur gleams reddish color in the sunlight and she has those long droopy hound ears - so gorgeous! Rain is friendly and curious, very eager to learn and to please. Her mother is a Golden Retriever and we have no idea who dad is but he was obviously a hound, probably a Coonhound. Rain came to us with her brother Blaze. Rain is just about a year old and weighs 60lbs, but shouldn't get much bigger. Rain has never been inside before coming to the shelter, but adjust to new environments very well. She is also very smart - she is the leader of the pair. ***Rain just entered the Paws in Prison Program and will receive 8 weeks of obedience training. They say she is doing great already! Rain will be house trained, crate trained and learn a lot of tricks too. She will graduate the end of April and will be ready for her forever home!
