Opie came to us, with his brother Oden. Opie was blessed with the most beautiful blue eyes, but he has confidence issues - he is a little unsure of himself although he feels confident with another doggo around, so he will do best in a home with another k-9 companion. He loves other dogs and gets along with almost all of them, but no chickens for this guy! People on the other hand, make him nervous. He is so happy around those he knows and will be that way with you too, if you give him the time to get to know you. It will take time, but it will be worth it the first time he comes to you, asking to be petted. He loves stuffed toys and jumps for joy when he gets to come play in the lobby. He is a really fun little guy. He is not house-trained but we offer free online basic obedience training through the Dog Academy to help with this.
