We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. He’s a German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin, and he’s on the lookout for someone to join him on all his wild adventures (and a few snuggle sessions, of course). The Facts: Neutered and up-to-date on all his shots — he’s good to go!Heartworm negative, which means more playtime and less worry!A gimpy back leg that doesn’t slow him down one bit! Scooter still runs, jumps, and plays like the happy, goofy pup he is.Perfect teeth that’ll dazzle you when he flashes his big smile!Scooter is an attention magnet—he'll nudge your hand and wiggle his whole body to let you know he’s ready for love and pets. Once he’s soaked up all the attention, he’ll be zooming after a ball, living his best life. His energy is infectious, and his goofy antics will have you laughing in no time. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
