Hi I’m Smokey I’m a male, 10-12 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua Mix. I was rescued from an extremely high kill shelter so very little is known about my history. Since being in a foster home I have come out of my shell quite a bit. I LOVE people and love spending time with my human so much I can get stressed if they’re gone for too long. I do seem to do better with same sized dogs preferably female. I would prefer to be an only child but I know that’s not always possible. I am getting used to be an indoor dog and potty training is coming along. I know how to use a potty pad though. I’ve come a long way in the short time I’ve been in a foster home and I can only imagine what I can do if I’m in a home of my own!
