Say hello to Honey! Honey is a super-sweet female Chihuahua mix who was surrendered to the shelter when her former owner's living situation changed and he was no longer able to care for her. Honey is used to home-life and isn't too keen on all this shelter commotion. She is a mellow lady overall and would love a calm home that will give her lots of love and attention. She is very affectionate and social with people (including kids, per her former owner). Honey walks well on leash and enjoys walks in the sunshine and sniffing around the play yard. Honestly, Honey doesn't ask for much except to be your BFF! She has been working on her socialization with other dogs and making very good progress. She has even started to play some with her bestie, Bumi! If you have a dog at home, an intro will be required prior to adoption. Honey is approximately four-years-old and her adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations up to date including rabies, and microchip.
