Meet Bumi (pronounced "Boom-ee"! Bumi is an approximately one-year-old, ten-pound Chihuahua mix available for adoption through Chi Town Rescue. Bumi was surrendered to the rescue when his former owner moved. He is used to living his life in a home and has had a difficult time adjusting to shelter/kennel life. Bumi is a shy and sensitive guy who takes a bit to warm up to new people and new situations. He would do best in a quiet home with no small children. Bumi is leash-trained and enjoys going on walks. He has a mostly mellow energy overall and is happy to sit in your lap (once he knows you) and get pets. Bumi does fine with other dogs he's met so far and could potentially do well with your dog at home too; bring them in for an intro.
