Meet Frankie Meet Frankie, a truly special boy with an incredible story. Frankie was found as a stray in California with a dislocated hip and spent nearly two months in a shelter. Even though we were not a partner rescue with that shelter, their volunteers loved him so much that they reached out and advocated for him, knowing he deserved a chance. Thanks to their support, Frankie was able to receive FHO surgery, and we are happy to say he is doing amazing in his recovery. He’s feeling great and showing everyone just what a wonderful dog he is. Frankie has a fantastic temperament and is stable in almost all of our playgroups. He does best with female dogs and absolutely loves to play—balls, toys, and bones are his jam. Give him a good bone and he’ll happily entertain himself for hours, stretched out on his bed like the good boy he is. He’s well-mannered, easygoing, and social, and we definitely see dog events in his future. Frankie is ready to leave his past behind and start the next chapter of his life with a family who will love him as much as he deserves.
