BODHI is available! Bodhi is a neutered Golden Doodle approximately 3-and-1/2-years old. He is tall, weighs 67#, energetic strong, friendly and likes to go on daily walks or go hiking. He needs training with a leash though. Bodhi had surgery in late 2023 for a mast cell tumor, is doing well, has had one ultrasound wellness follow-up and was pronounced clear, with a final follow-up scheduled for 5/17/24. He has been around small children, but because of his size and strength older children would be recommended. He has been around other dogs, but not cats; he is very relaxed and "chill" with other dogs. His foster mom thinks he would be a good candidate for a therapy dog. All potential fosters and adopters must complete an application, pay the $25.00 application fee and have a home visit before being considered for any dog. Because we have new rescues coming in all the time, if the Golden that is the right dog for you is not available at this time it will probably come into Rescue and you would be notified of the availability. Waiting times vary depending upon how specific your preferences are. The more you restrict the factors involved in choosing a dog – age, sex, coat color, etc. – the longer the wait may be before we have the perfect dog for you.
