Female Dog, Chihuahua

Chihuahua / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Do you have a little room on your lap for April? That's her favorite place to be. What she lacks in size she more than makes up for in personality. April is a 3 ½ -year-old, 8 pound, Chihuahua. She enjoys roaming around the yard and lying on the sunny patio. She is house-trained but due to her small size she needs to be supervised at all times when she is outside. If you're home a lot and looking for an ideal companion, your search is over. April will be happy to be with you all day and night. She asks very little in return for the pleasure she gives. Just come and meet her and you'll see what we mean. April gets along very well with other small dogs. She likes people but would probably prefer a quieter home without small children running around. As with any dog, a new environment and new routines means April may need a refresher course in housetraining. April is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. If you are interested in making April a permanent member of your family, please fill out our online application* at: https://helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application . April’s adoption fee of $350 helps with medical expenses of the rescue. Thank you for “thinking rescue”. Phoenix metro adoptions only. * An application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up.
