Description:
Cupcake is a young, happy male Rottweiler. He loves people and will happily accept all the pets you can give. We rescued him and his mom Matilda off the euthanasia list at the county shelter. We couldn't believe that this pair was going to be put to sleep, so we rescued them knowing their forever family would find them soon and see how amazing they are! We aren't 100% sure if Matilda is his mom but she is a few years older and has been bred, plus Cupcake takes correction from her very well, so we are assuming she is his mom. They are very attached to each other and we would love to see them go into a home together. They both love people. Matilda thinks she's a lap dog and Cupcake loves to play in between getting pets. These two deserve more than anyone to find their happily ever after and we hope to find that for them very soon. If you are interested in adoptioning a young and energetic boy that loves to play, then Cupcake is your guy. If you are interested in having unlimited amounts of love and adopting both of them, they would love to met you! Our Adoption ProcessIf you are interested in adopting one of our fun-loving, "not-so-rotten" Rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that allows us to get to know you better. This ensures the dog you are interested in is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access the questionnaire by visiting our website at www.rottenrottie.com, clicking on the "Forms" tab, and submitting the form online. After reviewing your answers, if we feel the dog you are interested in is not a match for your family, we may recommend a different Rottweiler companion. Once we determine which dog is best for you, we will schedule a meeting at their current home, where they feel most comfortable and act naturally. We require a home check to ensure each dog is going to a safe environment. To finalize the process, an adoption contract must be signed. We also require a rehoming fee, which is typically $500 for most adults and $350 for seniors (6 years and older) or Rottweiler mixes of any age (excluding puppies). Fees for puppies fluctuate depending on the investment required for the litter and whether they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary for our organization to continue rehoming Rottweilers in need. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for heartworms. Each dog comes with a collar and a leash. We also address any injuries or illnesses they had upon arrival or developed in foster care; any such conditions will be fully disclosed to the adopter prior to the adoption. Please Note: In almost all cases, we do not adopt to out-of-state applicants. On rare occasions, if we feel it is a perfect match for both you and the dog, we may make an exception for our neighbors in Las Vegas. If you live in Las Vegas and would like us to consider your application, please fill out the questionnaire.
