Durango is a super sweet boy who melts the heart of everyone he meets! Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, Durango isn't shy about making himself comfortable right next to you-especially if there's a chair available, which makes us think he may have enjoyed furniture privileges in his previous home.Durango can be quite the chatterbox when he's excited! Getting ready for outings, heading out on Miles & Mutts Adventures, playing outside, or meeting other dogs are all things that bring out his happy, talkative side! Once his initial wiggles are out, though, he settles nicely and is relatively easy to redirect. He's a true people pleaser who loves to learn and engage with his people. Durango is likely potty trained, though like many dogs he may need a little guidance as he adjusts to a new routine in his new home. After his excitement settles, he walks very well on leash and enjoys getting out for adventures. He came to us already knowing sit and has been learning wait, down, and shake while in shelter-he's a smart boy who takes to training very well! Durango has been friendly with other dogs in the shelter, always showing an excited and social demeanor when he sees them. If needed, we're happy to provide a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption. He also has great car etiquette and loves going bye-bye, making him an excellent companion for outings and adventures. Durango is such a fun dog, and we've truly loved getting to know his sweet personality!
