Female Dog, Pug

Pug / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

UPDATE! Meet Hilda! This little cutie sadly was surrendered to the shelter after her momma came down with dementia and could no longer care for her. She’s a darling little pug mix who is around 5-7 year old and weighs 7 lbs. She’s a timid girl and will need a quiet and patient home. She does well with other dogs but would do best in a home with older or chill pets. We do not think she would be a good fit for small kids. She is blind in one eye. Our vet checked it out and said although it’s very flaccid, there is no glaucoma and it’s not causing her any pain. At this point he felt there was no reason for removal. She is utd, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed. She will make the perfect lap baby for a quiet home, that’s home most of the time and has the patience to dedicate to show this girl the love she truly deserves. Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals. All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! ADOPTION APPLICATION LINK IN BIO! https://form.jotform.us/70898112177159
