Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Kenai (known as Frankie at his foster home) is the sweetest orange tabby in the world! He might be shy at first, but once he is comfortable, Frankie will want to be in your lap letting you know how much he loves you. Frankie and his siblings Juneau (Francie) and Denali (Freddie) came to their foster home when they were six weeks old. Brother Freddie was over-the-top friendly and happy; Frankie needed just a tiny bit more time to learn to trust people before he, too, became exceptionally sweet and loving. Frankie loves human attention, asks to be held, kissed, and cuddled, and has the loudest non-stop purr. Frankie enjoys playing with his sister Francie and non-blood-related “sister” Antonia (Fleurette), but he also enjoys quiet time on his own to just watch what is going on around him. Frankie is primarily motivated by being around humans, but food comes in a close second. Frankie does well around other cats and is not afraid of this foster mom’s large black Labrador dog. Frankie is the perfect mix of playful companion and sweet lap kitty. Frankie would do best in a home where he can receive a lot of human interaction. He would love to be adopted with either of his sisters Juneau (Francie) or Antonia (Fleurette), but he will be just as happy as the center of attention on his own. If you want lots of love and fun, Frankie (Kenai) is the kitty for you! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee. **Dog/Puppy applications - Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email [email protected]**
