Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Short Coat)

Description:

Juneau (known as Francie at her foster home) is the cutest tortoiseshell kitty! Francie arrived at her foster home when she was six weeks old with her two brothers Denali (Freddie) and Kenai (Frankie). Brother Freddie was over-the-top friendly, but Francie needed just a little coaxing to get her to trust humans. Now she is the sweetest, cutest, and happiest kitty ever! She will be reserved at first, but once she feels comfortable, she will turn on her loud purr and let you know she really wants to get attention from you. Her demeanor is very cute and sweet. She has the loudest non-stop purr. Francie is highly intelligent and loves to play. She regularly carries things in her mouth playfully inviting her siblings to chase her. She does well around adult cats, and she is not afraid of her foster mom’s large black Labrador. She would do well in a quieter home where she can get a lot of human attention. Tortoiseshell kitties sometimes attach themselves to one person, so it would be nice if at least one person in the home could “belong” just to Miss Francie. Francie would love to be adopted with her brother Frankie (Kenai), but she will do equally well adopted on her own. If you are looking for a sweet and playful companion who wants to be loved, Francie (Juneau) is your girl! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee. **Dog/Puppy applications - Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email [email protected]**
