Description:
Montana came to us as a stray and very pregnant! She was scared, nervous and shortly there after gave birth, and went into a foster home until her kittens were old enough to be adopted. Since she has been back, she still is on the shyer side, but she allows pets. She does not like to be picked up unless she has developed (even a small) bond with you. She would prefer a home with no kids, or older, less rowdy kids, and can be a good hunter, also! She has came a long way since first arriving, but you can tell she could be happier. She was a colony cat with little to no human interaction. So she may just be a good barn cat! She was brought in shortly after some other strays, and from the same place where many others comingled. She is developing trust slowly in us humans, so her new home should be very patient with her. If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All cats are spayed/neutered (deposit required if too young), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. HSBC has a policy of not declawing, which is included on our Adoption Contract. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the cat of your choice. Please visit our website for additional information. The online application can be found at: https://hsburnettcty.org/adoption-application/
