Description:
PUPR has a Senior to Senior program to place animals - mostly cats - in homes of our Senior community. PUPR pays for all vetting and food if needed, as it's considered a longer term foster. It helps the senior to have a companion without a lot of expens, as many are on a fixed income, and the cat can have a loving home. While this is a great idea, it is challenging when the human senior can no longer stay in their home - as in the case for Betty. She has lived with her human for a couple of years and sadly, her senior human has to go to a nursing home. So, Betty will be back with the rescue. We are reaching out to see if there is another senior or adult that may be interested in fostering Betty? She is 5 years young, fully vetted and very loving. Her issue is that she doesn't like other animals, so she needs to be an only cat and animal in the home She has been around children over age 12 yrs Her favorite past time is to watch the birds out the window She loves her cat tree She is used to eating canned cat food along with dry food She uses the litter box without any issues If you or someone you know could help to foster Betty, please reach out as we'd like to chat with you!
