Maxine is a gentle, sweet girl looking for her forever home. ❤️Maxine spent her entire life outdoors, but thanks to a kind woman who made sure she always had food and shelter, she was cared for. She had several litters of kittens, and now that she has been spayed, her days of motherhood are behind her. She is ready to enjoy the safe, comfortable indoor life she deserves.Since coming into foster care, Maxine has really started to blossom. She loves being petted and is learning that being picked up can be okay, although she hasn’t had much experience with it yet. She has already come a long way with human attention and is becoming more comfortable and trusting every day.Maxine may be a little vocal or growl when she is unsure at first, but don’t let that worry you—it’s all sound and no bite! She hasn’t done this in quite a while, and I believe it was partly related to protecting and caring for her kittens at the time. With kindness, patience, and a little time, I truly believe Maxine will make a wonderful and loving companion.She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Maxine has spent her whole life taking care of herself and her babies.
