Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair

Description:

These teens are a combination of playful and affectionate. Both are active and inquisitive but more than willing to stop and enjoy a cuddle. They liven things up and will keep you entertained. They LOVE string toys and are quite the acrobats and jumpers. Fred is definitely the confident one and I would describe him as "spirited, active and energetic". Fred wants to live life to the fullest and is always looking for something to do!! He definitely needs lots of toys and stimulation. Barney is more laid back but willing to engage in shenanigans with his brother. Barney is very shy at first and will take time to warm up but when he does, he is a real cuddler and enjoys sleeping with his person. Barney can get over stimulated and his love bites are "enthusiastic". As active as Fred is he still enjoys his pets and cuddles. They enjoy tv time and watching/sleeping with their person on the couch. They are both very food motivated. They LOVE to eat and canned food is especially exciting. We are working on kitchen manners. For some reason they are both very interested in people food and think the kitchen is a wondrous place. We are working on staying out of the kitchen when it is meal time and that you cannot help yourself!! They have been neutered, tested, microchipped, given their appropriate vaccinations and treated for parasites as needed. Unfortunately, these two boys were a litter of 4 and the other 2 males passed away from FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). They should be the only cats in your home until they are at least 2 years old per the vet. Please fill out an application at www.sccpets.com if you have room in your home and heart for this pair of pals! The foster experience has been great with these brothers and their foster Mom is really going to miss them.
