Washington, D.C.- Suburban Virginia/Maryland Area inquiries only, please! FFGW Adoption Policy is that all kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs. If not part of a bonded pair, you need to have a compatible cat 1 year old or younger already in the family. Trace is a playful, gentle kitten who loves chasing toys and spending time with her sister, Canvas. She has a curious nature and is good at entertaining herself, but she also enjoys being close to her people. She sleeps with her foster at night and has become quite the lap cat. For a kitten to settle in a lap and not pop up every few minutes makes her especially charming. After settling into her foster home, Trace now stretches out on top of you on the couch while you’re watching TV, purring almost instantly when she’s pet. She loves being picked up and carried, and she’ll run alongside you, cut in front of your path, and stand still like she’s politely waiting to be scooped up or given attention. Sometimes, she even stands on her hind legs and reaches up for affection! Trace also has a quirky habit of lying down to eat, which never fails to make her humans smile. She’s affectionate, sweet, curious, and full of endearing little behaviors that make her a joy to have around. Trace is bonded with Canvas, and the two sisters must be adopted together. You may think at first glance they look exactly the same, but Canvas has thicker stripes and a white spot on her chest whereas Trace is full tabby stripes, just thinner.
