Washington, D.C.- Suburban Virginia/Maryland Area inquiries only, please! Meet Gertie, a lovely eight-year-old calico girl who is ready to find a home of her own. She is curious, sweet, and wonderfully affectionate. One of her favorite ways to show love is by giving gentle head bumps and brushing up against you while purring happily. She’ll lean into you, make biscuits with her paws, and greet you with excitement every time you walk into the room. When she’s feeling especially affectionate, she’ll happily crawl into your lap or stretch out on your chest for a cozy cuddle. She has the softest fur and the cutest little meow, though you’ll rarely hear it, because she mostly communicates through purrs and affection. Calm, loving, and full of quiet charm, she would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted feline friend.
