Most orange/ginger cats are boys - Marigold is special! Marigold iwas very timid at first but now she is welcoming affection from the volunteers she knows. She likes to have her chin scratched, and she leans into your hand for head rubs. Recently she's decided she's a fan of butt scratches too! :) She knows her name and responds to it. She is a wicked catcher of toys throw to her and will play this game as long as you're willing to toss the toy! The higher you throw it the better! Marigold is in love with Tig, and we would like this bonded couple to stay together. Please check out Tig's profile! We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
