My name's Iris and I'm a mellow Tabby with beautiful markings. I'm still a tad shy but I like to play and when you rub my head, I melt and welcome your touch. And I'm smart - If you say "Ready, ready, ready?" I know pets are coming and I get in position! I'll even roll around asking for more! I will let you pet me as long as you want & I'm just waiting to have a real home and I swear, I'm going to be a super lap cat and sleep with you if you allow. I'm getting along with other cats in the shelter just fine because I'm really pretty easy going. My estimated DOB is May 2021. We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
