Description:

Luna's Personality Luna is a handsome BOY! Yes, a boy. When he was a kitten, his family thought he was a girl so they named the kitten Luna. He knows his name so we haven't changed it! Luna is a very friendly, confident kitty. He was only a tad bit shy when he first came into our care. This brave boy adapted easily to his foster home. He is out and about and loves to explore his kingdom. This curious boy is learning to play with toys and LOVES to play inside of brown paper bags. They won't last long though...he tends to tear them up while playing. Luna enjoys being petted but hasn't decided yet if he likes laps. He enjoys hanging out with his foster mom and interacting with people. Luna has only been in our care for a very short period of time...we will update his write up as we get to know him better. What Type of Home Luna Needs Luna needs a home where he has plenty of room to roam around. He is use to living in a single family home with multiple people, including children. He needs a home with more than one person. A family with older kids would be fine. He can get a little 'mouthy' when he plays so we are teaching him some manners. We have no idea how he would be with other cats or dogs, so we are seeking a home with no other pets. Where Luna Came From Luna came from a loving home that was no longer able to care for him. So they contacted their neighborhood "cat lady" who happened to be an SPCA NOVA volunteer to ask for help finding Luna another loving home.PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. Please see our adoption guidelines at https://spcanova.org/about-us/adoption-policies/.
