Hello, my name is Opal! I am an 8 week old female domestic medium hair kitten that weighs approx. 2lbs. I was found by a citizen in a trash can and they were not able to keep me. I am now in a foster while waiting for my FURever family! I am a sweet girl that has done well with other cats and children. I have not lived with a dog so that will be a new experience for me. My adoption fee is $75 which includes my spay, rabies, microchip, first FVRCP vaccine, and dewormer. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 11/19/25, for my spay and rabies vaccine. The date is non-negotiable and is a part of the adoption contract. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants to coordinate a meet and greet with my foster. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
