Description:
Meet Arlo! Arlo is a 6-week-old male kitten who was surrendered to Rockwall Adoptions along with his sister and their mom after the little family was discovered living underneath a neighbor's back porch. Arlo had an uncertain start to life and is still learning what it means to feel completely safe around people, but he is already showing encouraging progress. He is a little shy at first, but he tends to warm up more quickly and is less likely to retreat once he realizes he is in a safe situation. Arlo is tolerant of gentle handling and appears more willing to trust, though he will still benefit from an adopter who is patient and committed to helping him continue building confidence through regular interaction, positive socialization, and routine. At only 6 weeks old, Arlo has plenty of time to continue learning that people can be kind and dependable, and with the right home, he has every opportunity to grow into a confident and loving companion. Arlo's neuter surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2026. This date is non-negotiable. An approved online adoption application is required before meeting Arlo and before adoption. Arlo's adoption fee is $75, which includes his neuter surgery, microchip, rabies vaccination, and boosters to date. Apply online at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected]. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
