Matilda, aka "Mattie", aka Toothless, is an adorable DSH black female born approximately 3/21/2025. Meet Matilda (aka Toothless!) First of all, yes, she has all of her teeth! Her fosters call her Toothless, after the dragon in the movie "How to Train Your Dragon." Not only does she look exactly like him, she has a lot of his personality, too! Matilda, aka Toothless, starts out a little shy and timid, but as soon as she gets comfortable with you, she transforms into a bundle of boundless energy. She needs a high energy environment with one or more young cat friends, or several kids, or both! She hasn't been around dogs, but her foster thinks she'd probably do okay with a smaller dog to rule over. She loves all sorts of cat toys, but if you run out, she can make her own fun. One of her favorite cat toys is a bottle cap that she carries around in her mouth. She sleeps at the very top of the tallest cat tree, and then has lots of energy to play. You may not want to let her in the bedroom at night because one of her favorite games is "pounce on that thing under the blanket!" She actually loves to cuddle, especially in the mornings, but is shy about asking for it. She will sit near you, but never crawl onto your lap... BUT if you just grab her and start petting, very quickly she will be sprawled across you, purring loud enough to hear across the room. Mattie is very well-groomed and clean, always uses her litter box properly, and is neat when she eats her wet food. She has been eating Hill's kitten food, but her favorite is whatever food our other cat is eating. Tiki Cat mousse wet food in pouches is her favorite treat. Mattie is microchipped and currently in a loving foster home. Her adoption fee is $105.
