He has large wounds and excoriations behind both ears, along with black debris present in both ears (AU) consistent with heavy mite burden. The severity of his ear condition has led to extensive skin damage, and he will require ongoing medical treatment, parasite control, wound care, and monitoring to allow healing and prevent further complications. This level of care exceeds what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment. Despite his condition, Brady remains gentle and is doing his best while receiving supportive care.Brady needs a safe, compassionate placement where he can receive continued medical treatment, wound care, and monitoring in a low-stress environment to support healing and comfort. This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide.
