Case in point: as a baby he nearly lost an eye, which in true Mr. Bean fashion he handled by simply deciding not to, and if his eye looks a little distinctive in his photos that is because it has been through something and earned the right to look however it wants. He communicates primarily through expression the slow blink, the meaningful stare, the look of profound offense followed immediately by complete forgiveness and he has never once needed words to make himself perfectly understood.
