Description:

Meet Bananas, the epitome of feline affection and adventurous spirit. This charming kitty is a true sweetheart, with a penchant for behind-the-ear scratches and head rubs that will make your heart melt. Bananas is not one to shy away from adventure; she thrives on exploring every nook and cranny of her surroundings, her curiosity leading her on exciting escapades. Whether it's investigating hidden corners or engaging in playful antics, Bananas approaches life with boundless enthusiasm and zest. A true culinary connoisseur, Bananas takes her role as a breakfast supervisor seriously. With a keen eye for detail, she eagerly assists in meal preparations, ensuring that every dish meets her impeccable standards. And while she may have a preference for sampling delicacies from the countertop rather than the floor, her playful antics and infectious energy bring joy to every mealtime. When it comes to playtime, Bananas is in her element. Armed with determination and a hint of mischief, she eagerly pursues the elusive laser light, convinced that victory is just within reach. Her playful antics and playful spirit are sure to bring laughter and joy to any household. But perhaps Bananas' greatest gift is her affectionate nature. With gentle head bumps and tender kisses, she expresses her love and appreciation for her human companions, making every interaction a heartwarming reminder of the bond they share. With her irresistible charm and playful personality, Bananas is more than just a pet—she's a beloved member of the family, ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless adventures. If you are interested, please fill out an adoption form on our website that is located at www.windyridgerescue.org/application. We are foster based, so we schedule meet and greets so that our fosters are a part of the process. You can also visit our kitties at the Sumter Petco every Friday, Saturday & Sunday. If you are interesting in meeting any of our pets, the process is to complete an application. It can be downloaded as a pdf document from our website and submitted by email to [email protected] as a scanned document or as photos OR can be completed entirely online. Both links are in the header of our website. Because we are foster based, we require an approved application to schedule a meet and greet. We feel that is fair to our fosters and rescues so every meet and greet can result in an adoption. A limited number of cats are showcased at Peetco in Sumter, SC weekly. We do not have set adoption fees for dogs, but hope adopters will donate generously so we can rescue more. The medical care for every dog can easily exceed the adoption donation. Average adoption fees for dogs in the area range from $175 up to $450. Your generous adoption donations help us continue our programs of providing quality food and medical care to those who pass through our fosters. We ask for a minimum adoption donation of $70 for cats who are not yet altered and $100 for cats who are already spayed or neutered, regardless of age. Please bring your own carrier for the ride home! Each cat is up to date on vaccinations, dewormer, and microchipped. Larger donations are always welcome so we can rescue more. Medical care for each cat easily exceeds the minimum donation. As with every rescue, our resources are limited and the need for rescue help is unlimited. Your generosity helps us to rescue more and funds the only Trap Neuter Return Program in the county. It's like tossing $100 bills in the woods when we trap a cat, vaccinate and spay or neuter that cat and then return them to the colony. Young kittens are tamed and available for adoption. We are alone doing this in our area. Your increased donation at the time of adoption can help us cover costs for the cat becoming part of your family as well as a feral to prevent more feral litters. Adopting or fostering for a rescue frees up a space where a new rescue can reside. If you can't adopt or foster, than please consider donating.
