Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Tuxedo / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Meet Paisley, she is a sweet 1.5 year old Tuxedo who is social and gentle. She is currently being fostered with another adult cat, Oynx. Both of these girls are being rehomed due to their owner being deported. They had quick sad goodbye with their owner as ICE tossed the kitties outside and left them there. They are not outdoor cats. The neighbors saw what happened and took the two inside to care for them. Paisley prefers one on one time with her foster family. When Paisley first arrived, she hid behind the washer until she felt comfortable and safe with her new surroundings but once she came out, she blossomed into the same playful, social and sweet cat she has always been. She has had some experience with a gentle cat-friendly dog, but we would not recommend a full house of other animals and she may be fine as your only pet. Paisley will need a few days to adjust to her new home and settle in. Older children may be ideal for her as she would love the playtime and attention. Paisley's foster parents are asking if they could be adopted together. They feel if would be a shame to spilt them up given the history and disruption they have experienced together. Paisley's adoption fee is $125. If she were adopted with Onyx the adoption fee is $200. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
