Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair
Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Hope is a sweet and independent young cat who would love a cozy forever home. She’s around 2 years old, spayed, litterbox trained, and low-maintenance — the perfect companion for anyone wanting a mix of cuddles and independence. Hope enjoys catnip, toys that dangle, and her hilarious “zoomie” play sessions. She’ll sometimes even paw at her water bowl and drink from her paws! While she can be shy or hissy with strangers at first, it’s just nerves — once she realizes you’re safe, she melts right into pets and snuggles. Personality & Home Life: Best as the only cat or in a home with male cats (she dislikes female cats). Tolerates dogs and has even been known to play with them! Skittish with new people but warms up quickly with patience. Does well with adults — kids are an unknown. Indoor cat in her current home but previously lived indoor/outdoor. Her Story: Hope was rescued off the side of a highway by kind friends. When her previous owners were located, they revealed a history of neglect and abuse and allowed her rescuers to keep her. Later, Hope came into her current caretaker’s home, where she received her vaccinations and spay. Unfortunately, due to life changes, her caretaker can no longer provide the time she deserves — so Hope is searching for her true forever family. Rehoming fiee is $100. Hope currently lives in Gresham. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
