My name is Wayne and I was named after a maintenance person at the OKC Zoo. PAWS-OK got my mom, Molly, when she was pregant with me and living in the zoo maintenance shed. I was born, one of a litter of eight in my PAWS-OK foster home so I have been around people my whole life. I love to play and do all the things young cats like me like to do. I wrestle with my siblings and love to climb. I am all ready to go to my new home and start my "next chapter". PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.
