Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Siamese / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

My name is Derek and I am looking for a new home through PAWS-OK in OKC. They rescued me when I was about a year old (2014). I was limping and the vet put me on cage rest for a few months because I had a crack in my "ball joint" in my back leg. When I recovered I found a new home and was there until some family changes caused me to come back to PAWS-OK in March. I am a very sweet boy, love to purr and people but I am a "sneezer" - my mom says my last name should be Achoo! My last vet said I have some sinus scarring and when it gets real bad she would take me to the vet for antibiotics. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact PAWS at [email protected]. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center. If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation. Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens. If you have any questions, please reach out for us at [email protected].
