DOB: 8/6/2020 Hello! My name is Tessa. I’m 5 years old and came here when my loving owner could no longer care for me. Now I’m hoping to find a new home where I can be loved for exactly who I am. I’m a sweet girl, but the shelter makes me a little nervous, so I haven’t quite had the chance to show off my best self yet. (You probably know how it feels to be new somewhere and a little different from everyone else—it takes time to settle in!) I’d love to meet you, but I do have a couple of requests. The first is that you go slow with me—I’m not the “hug-you-the-second-we-meet” type of lady. And ideally, I’d like to be adopted as a solo cat so I can soak up all the love and attention.
