Description:

FIV+DOB: 7/22/2020 Pied Piper is a gentle, easygoing guy with a calm presence and a kind heart. Though he was sadly abandoned by his previous humans, he hasn’t let that dim his sweet nature. He’s still the same nice, chill cat who just wants to be near people and enjoy the simple comforts of home. This laid-back boy would love a family who appreciates quiet companionship, cozy naps, and a steady friend to share their days with. Pied Piper isn’t demanding — he’s content to lounge nearby, soak up affection, and be your loyal shadow. What he wants most is a second chance: a forever home with people who will cherish him and never leave him behind again. If you’re ready to offer love, stability, and a soft place to land, Pied Piper is ready to give his heart to you. Come meet me at the cage free Adoption Center! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus positive cats can live normal lives both in quality and duration. They do take special care in terms of monitoring them for signs of infection. FIV can be passed from cat to cat via deep bite wounds, but not from casual contact so positive cats can live with negative cats without the fear of spreading FIV as long as they get along and are spayed/neutered.
